Why don't I see the dimension lines if the option is enabled?

A customer asks us why he cannot see graphically the dimension lines of a section even if the option of dimensioning edge and width is activated.

In the case of a parameterized section, the display of the dimension lines that come by default with the section, can be activated and deactivated by checking or unchecking the dimension layer in the right panel of layers. In case the dimensions are created by the user, they will not be visible unless the user layer is also activated.

To activate the user layer simply select the corresponding layer as shown below and make sure it is checked as active.
