Select and modify the attributes of many supports at the same time in STATIK.

There is a way to select all elements of a structure in STATIK that have common characteristics. This is often very useful to change, for example, the stiffnesses of the supports of a model by groups instead of one by one.
To select supports having the same stiffness, you must do the following:

1.- Double-click on any support of the structure to enter the attribute box:

 

 

2.- Click on the binoculars icon at the bottom right to enter the search mode:

 

 
3.- Enter the desired stiffness in the appropriate field:
 

 

4.- Click on “Search” and the program will select all the supports that have that property assigned to them.

5.- Once you have selected the supports you want to change, just change the corresponding property and it will be applied to all of them at the same time.
