It is possible that when opening a previously saved project, errors may occur during the process. In such a case, it is likely that, although the project runs in the application, some functionalities will be displayed incorrectly in the program interface or may cause problems in its operation. These errors may be attributable to various causes, such as possible corruption of the project file during its storage on disk, or problems arising from the use of different versions of the programs for saving and reopening the file, in which some functions used in a project have changed their operation from one version to another.
Documented errors for this purpose may include the following:
In the presence of these errors, there are several alternatives that can contribute to the resolution of the problem. First of all, and as a main recommendation, it is suggested to use the “Recover” function, which is available for CEDRUS, FAGUS, STATIK, LARIX and PYRUS. To do so, once our project has been opened, access to: “File > Recover”, as can be seen in the image below.
The following options box will appear:
Select all options and click OK. This should solve the problems in most cases.
Another alternative that we can consider to solve possible inconveniences is the “Import” function. This function has been specifically designed to address incompatibilities that may arise due to variations between different versions of CUBUS programs. To carry out this process, we create a new blank project, access “File > Import” and select the version of the programs in which our project was saved.
A search menu will be displayed. Select our project and click OK.
The import will be carried out and our project will start smoothly. Once this procedure is completed, we recommend that you save your project with the current version of your program. We suggest that, after you have completed the previous steps, you close your project and reopen it before you start making changes to your work.
